On 12th June 2010, a selection of our tasty shorts were presented in a special programme at the 6th International Short Film Festival Detmold (Germany).

This year's edition of the festival, based in a specially-built cube within the Kulturfabrik Hangar 21, showed all in all 222 movies from all over the world. The team also organised workshops, exhibitions, concerts and parties for guests.

Three Matter of Taste shorts were screened on the 5th June 2010 at the "Moda Movie" festival in Cosenza, Italy. The event, organised by the Creazione e Immagine association, combines cinema and fashion with a focus on young talents. There were 2 competitions: one for short filmmakers and one for fashion designers - both on the theme of food!

17th December 2009 - Pristina, Kosovo (7Arte)

19th December 2009 - Moscow, Russia (Moviement)

The programme featured a selection of our competition shorts, as well as several documentaries already screened during the Matter of Taste project (Food Design, Eternal Mash, Milkbar), as well as many other titles (Our Daily Bread, The Lie of the Land...)

From 24th - 27th September 2009 there was a series of screenings and debates in Helsinki featuring "Matter of Taste" short films and food-themed documentaries! The 4-day event was organised by NISI MASA member Euphoria Borealis ry in partnership with DocLounge, Love&Anarchy festival and Megapolis.

The programme featured the documentaries "Bananas" (Fredrik Gertten) and "Food Inc" (Robert Kenner).

NISI MASA, in partnership with Daazo, the Association of Conscious Consumers and Protect the Future organised a "Gastro-Visual" weekend on the 31st July / 1st August 2009, at the Art House Cinema Odeon Lloyd in Budapest!
