Nisimazine workshops are organised by NISI MASA at different international film festivals all over the world. One of the main goals is to offer young critics, photographers and videobloggers an opportunity to get hands-on film journalism experience. Because the workshops are designed to have a more learning-through-doing and sharing of experience approach than a traditional training programme, we open up the opportunity to everyone with enthusiasm between the ages of 18 and 30 (depending on the workshop, there can be restrictions to nationality).
Three months before each workshop, we open a Call for Participants. You can download the official Call document with all information and an application form on this website (under Upcoming Workshops). You will be asked to send examples of previous work and answer some straight-forward questions. Based on your previous work and your motivation, we will make the selection. Everyone will be notified about the outcome.
This website is an archive of all the materials made during the workshops, as well as a platform for all alumni to keep in contact via the blog. Everyone is free to comment on any article, or to join any discussion.
